Can you believe it’s almost the end of November? Birth month for some, fall going into winter for others. Thanksgiving will be upon us soon when most people visit their relatives, or invite them over to their homes for Thanksgiving dinner. Whether there’s turkey on the table, dressing, cranberry sauce, even pizza for some, after all the cooking is complete, families gather to say a prayer of thanksgiving.
The Word of God says in Psalm 105:1, “Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.”
We should seek His face all the time, thanking Jesus for His works. Also, thanking Jesus for His works in us, giving our time, treasures and our talent where needed. Everyone, let’s not wait until Thanksgiving to give our Savior, our Redeemer thanks. As I’m typing this post, I’m thanking Jesus for putting the correct words on my heart and may my actions and our actions for the remainder of this year be pleasing to Him.
As long as there is breath in my lungs, I will praise Him, glorify His name and honor Him all the days of my life.
